Excelsior Prep. has designed a program that appeals to children’s interests and serves their needs.  Daily, students engage in fun outdoor activities and are exposed to a well devised curriculum that meets individual and group needs. 

Parents help through filling out an academic profile form, which is used in conjunction with students' standardized test scores, report cards, and a standard evaluation at the onset of the summer program.  Well trained teachers use the information to help students with remedial, standard, and advanced course work.

Outdoor activities such as, swimming lessons, skating, free play, and organized play are incorporated into the program’s schedule.  Weekly field trips are planned and are included in the cost of the summer program.

 

 

Water safety and swimming lessons are taught during Excelsior Prep.’s summer program.

 

Music is an important component of exploring and sharpening creativity, coordination, and cognitive abilities.

 

Excelsior Prep.’s summer school /camp has proven to benefit students by preparing them for the following academic year, stimulating many interests, developing skills and allowing them to actually enjoy the summer!

Students spend approximately 2-3 hours daily engaged in actual coursework; then the rest of each day is geared towards serving their interests.

Students enjoy mastering many computer skills, such as graphing, typing,  and researching at the Excelsior Prep. Summer Program.

Registration

$15.00 if paid prior to March 15th

Activity Fee

    $130.00  (Covers all field trips)

TUITION

Full Summer $500.00  due before or on June 15
Weekly $75.00 due  the first day of each week
Daily $20.00
 
Save over $100.00 by paying one sum of $645.00 to cover all of the summer program  fees (tuition, activity fees, and registration).

 

 

Hours of operation

Before Care is between 7:30 AM—8:30 AM free of charge

· After Care is between 4:00 pm-5:30 PM ($10.00 weekly fee).

· Courses are taught between 8:45 A.M.– 11:15A.M..  Camp commences daily afterwards.

· Parents and students receive a calendar of events and field trips.
