Excelsior Preparatory School’s Regional and National Honors
Reports from nationally norm reference, standardized tests, such as The Stanford Achievement Examination that is administered to all students in grades kindergarten through eighth grade reveal that our students, when compared with students in their respective nationally norm groups, outperform 95-99% of students in the nation and are working 2-4 grade levels above their respective grades.
Broward County’s Early Learning Coalition recently assessed students participating in the adopted Universal Pre-Kindergarten Program (also known as VPK) in an effort to ensure the educational effectiveness of schools. Students from approximately 400 schools were tested. The assessment report revealed that Excelsior is one out of only four Broward County Schools tested who earned a perfect score.
